bei Hazel Park, Victoria (Australia)
Take a short 200meter walk from the Carpark to a viewing area overlooking the falls. Along the way watch for birds like the Suburb Fairy Wren darting between the diverse range of trees, shrubs and grasses. Cool waters from trickling mountain streams drain the southern slopes of the Strezelecki Ranges before flowing into the meandering Agnes River. After heavy rain, the river thunders in a spectacular cascade into the gorge.
Rest on the seated areas provided and listen and watch for birds in the canopy of the trees within the gorge.
The grassy banks of the Agnes River make a delightful setting for a picnic.
The full loop only takes 10mins and at the Carpark are well maintain restrooms.
