Park your car in the Vallée de Mai's parking. There is a track with a chain at the start. Follow the track until the end. You may be able to see the Seychelles Black Parrot and the Seychelles Black Snail, both of them endemic to the Seychelles. You can also see the Seychelles Bulbul, the Indian Mynah, the Seychelles Giant Snail. Here occurs many tree species such as the Coco de Mer, the Thief Palm, the Latanyen Oban, the Latanyen Lat the Cinnamon, the Palmiste, some exotic trees such as Mango, Bilembi, Papaya and Guava, the Bwa Banan, the Bwa Rouz, the Manioc Bord de Mer, the Veloutier, the Prune de France and the Kalis Dipap.
At the viewpoint, it is better not to climb on the tower:the wooden floor is dug by the termites
the part between Vallée de Mai and the viewpoint is very easy but the part after the viewpoint on the Baie Ste Anne part is more difficult: The path is covered with vegetation and it is hard to walk in this. I don't advise you to do this.
The first photo shows what you can see from the viewpoint. The second one shows the first part of the track. Photo n°3 shows the vegetation of the glacis in the second part of the track. A thief palm is on photo n°4. Photo n°5 shows a Seychelles Giant Snail. There is a Pachnodus sp. on a thief palm's leave in photo 6
