Famous trail to Fitz Roy but from el pilar
Take a transfer from el chalten to el pilar (250 peso per people) at 8h00.
It is important to start early to avoid full of people when you go up to la laguna de los tres.
None technical difficulty but a bit physical on last km with 400m up.
Very nice view on the top but can be very cold due to strong wind.
We wanted to start from el pilar to avoid doing same track on the way back.

Realicé la subida en octubre. El tramo de subida a la Laguna de los Tres fue algo peligroso por la presencia de placas de hielo, pero excepto ese tramo el resto del itinerario es asequible.

Tres belle ballade.
Le départ part le Pilar permet d'économiser 2km et la première partie de la montée est plus facile. Elle se fait en pente douce.
La dernière montée est très longue et difficile.
A savoir: au pied de la dernière partie, il y a un abri, bien utile en cas de pluie.
