The Domino Trail – Trentham to Lyonville Return

"The Domino Trail has been extended to Lyonville and now runs along the old railway line, with the exception of a short detour around the bridge over the Coliban River (about 600 metres from Lyonville). The walk is easy to moderate, is approximately 6km in length and takes about 1.25 to 1.5 hours to complete one way." [from trail signage]

"Trentham Station to Doctors Creek
Beginning from the heritage-listed railway station, follow the Swamp Wallaby's footprints to the end of the platform, through the gate and down onto the old railway line.

In a matter of minutes you come to the first old wooden bridge, built in the late 1870's which crosses Stoney Creek. Just after the bridge , look to your left for the old Sunnyside foundry , built in 1893 to produce the famous Trehella car jack..."
