Looks quite a nice path. You have ranked it as difficult: what is difficult about it? I can see that the path is mostly on dirt road.

The difficult is the climbing from the rocks to the Cape....depents on your skills and age, but the walk is beautiful

Thanks for the information. I am 61 years old but reasonably fit. This summer I intend to hike a bit around Kythera with my tent. I think I will also go to the Kapsali area and have a look at the Trahilos Cape.
By the way, do you know if they have a good bus service on the island?

Hello Ivo Aceto! Unfortunately there is no bus service on the island... not even from the port... You could eventually hitch-hike though :)

Hi Ivo! They do have cars... local buses are only for schoolkids. Depending on the year, there is also a bus service once a day from Agia Pelagia to Kapsali and back, but I do not have further information about that at the moment. You can check the website www.visitkythera.com for more. Please let me know if there is any other information that you need! Best regards, Fivos Tsaravopoulos

Is this dirt road passable by normal car?

    Hello Marcin,
By normal car definitely not! Even for a 4WD it is rough terrain...
