Haven’t dressed properly as it was getting quite chilly up in the mountains. Had to take at least windstopper, was in jersey and shorts alone. Was knackered as rode to Medeu the day before, second time ride in Almaty.
Watch out on the way back once passed the last traffic light prior to the eco post. There is a huge pothole, something like 1.5-2 fr wide, and the same depth. Nasty stuff to roll into. Not sure why they haven’t repaired or at least covered it yet. Probably because it’s not a major issue for cars and drivers may be aware of this pothole.
