Beschreibung der Reiseroute
The walk mostly follows the PR2 around Castanet, it is quite hilly and in places the path is very narrow and stony.
From Fonfreche, follow the track down to Mas de Sol, turn left onto the road and walk uphill. Turn right on the track down to Lameune and when you reach the two house, turn sharp right to follow the narrow stony track steeply downhill.
When you reach the village of Causseviel, turn left on the road and then first right. Walk uphill to the stone cross and then turn left onto the track that goes uphill.
At the top of the hill turn right at the crossroads and then almost immediately left, following the yellow PR2 signs. Follow the track until you see the barns at the top of the hill, the PR2 turns left between two walls and the track is very narrow and stony. Cross the road at the bottom and follow the yellow markings very steeply downhill until you reach the resevoir at the bottom.
Keep following the yellow markers as the track winds its way uphill into the village of Le Cuzoul. Turn right on the road and then left at the T junction. Follow this road uphill until you reach Mas de Sol again, turn right and walk back to Fonfreche.
If you aren't a friend of mine, you can park at the cross in Causseviel and do the walk from there.
