Beschreibung der Reiseroute
The famous trail to the so called Chouwen lake, located inside the Jabal Moussa Reserve (opens at 7 am; 8,000 LL). It is not a lake actually but a wider section of the river. Forest trail all the way. Rated difficult because done in summer and the uphill after the river is a bit rugged and steep.
Be there the first to enjoy the calm as it gets crowdy at lunch time. Nice spots to get yourself cooled down with the cold spring water of the Ibrahim river. Possible to have a snack at the parking lot or at the start of the trail (manouche).
