Municipality created route - PR4.
It’s official kick start is in Covelo de Arca, but this path opted for finishing uphill, meaning start right from the Anta de Arca (megalitic monument) Since this route is circular it becomes indifferent.
Safe for all year long, but especially the way up would be less recommended for rainy days.
Highlights go to:
- the oak tree area (Carvalhedo da Gândara)
- Megalitic monument (Dolmen or Anta de Arca)
- Beautiful and bucolic forest, full of Loureiros, Castanheiros, Sobreiros, carvalhos.
- In the fall, you’re able to see chestnuts all the way along the path.
